The Morning of the 5th of July

Last night was loud. The windows of the house even shook a few times as they got hit by the sonic waves of exploding rockets. It went on throughout the night, into the early mornings of the hour.

I can’t complain, though. After everything that people have been through over the past 12 months, they needed the release and I’m glad they got it.

Now, if they shoot off any more fireworks tonight, that might be a different story…
